"New breed of beginner" makes Glasgow Class Buzz

Whats this

Introduced to this new type of beginner last night (nice friendly chap indeed i might say ) His name was Steve. BLOODY HELL he starts off from the top advanced level first "Expert"

Does that mean each week he goes dancing he gets worse until after .........some number of years he becomes like eh a REAL beginner. A sort of reverse un-learning process.

Also nice to meet Gus (Devils Advocate) and his girlfriend.

The Glasgow Class really buzzzed last night. I really should have just sat down and admired the sheer skill of these talented dancers strutting their stuff. Problem was they were male

PS: Best wishes to Brady and Sheena on their competition this Saturday me thinks they make a wonderful dance pairing. Seen one of their competitors on the dance floor last night (nae chance) i think his name was Franck

Cant wait till this weekend tis like going your holidays and getting all excited. Come to think of it, i have never been excited when i went on holiday

Must agree with Michael 110% on this! The night in Glasgow was really great last night; was on a 'dance high' the entire evening! Great to see all the new faces from around the coutry turn up to the night; just makes it that much better. Also great to see that we can achieve a class night that is comparable to Hipsters (a top venue down in London for those who haven't been). If only it were to buzz like last night, more often.

Not all that fair, as there were some really lovely talented female dancers as well, only pity is there wasn't time to dance with them all, although I think I go the three who'd made the trek and they were all fabby dancers although I did miss one or two of the really talented Glasgow women

Absolutely Dave. Trouble was they were sort of rather attached to all those superb male dancers. Thank god sheena just does not stop, means us mere mortals can grab a wee dance with her

Have to say that I had several very nice dances last night with people that I'd never met before.

Made the trip very worthwhile

Nice to see Gus again too - and to meet Sarah.

Why, thank you! And you were gentle with me too, what with me in my heels... Not sure why I decided to give them another go... I'll just say that I'm glad I went with the black sparklies and not the white satin shoes - the white ones would have been brown after last night!!!

And no, it wasn't Tramp standing on my toes!

Good to see some old, I mean, familiar faces last night!

Hi Lindsay. Yep Edinburgh Class rocked once again!!
I just love it.

I hate saying it but in my limited visits so far Edinburgh seems to have consistency, there is just no way it is going to be dull or lack sparkle. One reason could be that it gets more visitors.

I hope when Stirling Ceroc opens it doesent remove that buzzing energy from Edinburgh.

Wonder what we could do to make sure Glasgow can maintain that atmospherical buzz the other night, other than hope or encourage more ceroc visitors to drop in on Glasgow.

Don't think it's the visitors- it's the regulars who sparkle!

Need more boys though.....

You all sparkle Lindsay especially when you are all lined up waiting for more men to appear, but hey it was down to five (shortage of male) at the intermediate section so not too bad.

I may be helping you out there since me thinks i will be taking a fellow dancer (male Lindsay male!)along with me next week and even better news i gather he is a damn good dancer.

Hope that cheers you up

Still feel the more visitors you get the more buzz and hey Glagow girls sparkle rather well too you know
