I have always wondered why I meet people at weekenders that claim to have danced with me at places that I know I have never been.

I have a Doppleganger!

How they could confuse us if we are of very different sizes is strange.

My size has led to some strange comments that all seem to end with "for a man of your size" For example

You have very flexible shoulders for a man of your size.
You have a very light lead for a man of your size.
You are quite intelligent for a man of your size.

Who said that only women get judged by their looks.

Happy Dancing

Re: Nicknames

In the days when I went to Notre Dame there was a guy there we called Thunderbirds - he just looked like them and danced as if he had strings and appeared to lurch around the dance floor, all the girls tried to avoid him

Last time I went to Ashtons he was there AND he still dances exactly the same and the girls are still running for cover - however, he has a new nickname - forgotten what it was though
