Re: Dancing without feeling

Dancing without feeling .... hmmmm .... how about dancing with too much feeling?

I can quite imagine some partners can get quite unnerved when they get a dance that way too intense than what they were expecting [ .... bit like expecting a slight sip of wine (or liquour, maybe), only to get a face full!]

anyone get this?

Ian

couldn't have put it better myself. to me, every dance is different, it has a different beat, a different feeling etc and so on. I almost got slugged in the face last night by someone who seemed to think he was some kind of whiz on the dance floor when i spent the whole time having my arm ripped out of its socket or trying to dodge a left hook!

Had a flavour of it in beginners class last week when a lady got a little bit more UCP for the slo-comb & wiggle than I had ever experienced! Was a little bit alarming.

There was one guy in dance class last night with shorts on, had extremely skinny white hairy legs, and was dancing in socks.....and sandals. What a mess......

I ain't got a scooby, I don't think i've seen him before, or maybe I just never noticed him-maybe he was hiding I've noticed that the beginners at JJ's tend to all stay in the area where the revision class is held-I don't think as many people venture up there to ask guys to dance...but that's just my opinion. If he is there next week, and I remember who he is I will ask and report back.
