Addiction

This is a statistical generalization of course, so don't come and tell me that you have been at every Ceroc night for the last 2 years without missing one night / party On second thought, do tell me (but on another thread... How addicted are you?).

Ok then.................... let me be the first to admit my addiciton...which will come as no surprise to anyone !

As one of Franck's Aberdeen originals I still feel the need to turn up every week. I have thought about giving up but I need dance 'patches' to wean me off I think. It helps to confess and now it's out in the open I feel much better

But..........it doesn't endanger my health - except when I get the moves wrong - or anyone elses ( usually!).

Having been at Stockport (beautiful town hall !), Nottingham, Northampton, Leicester and Edinburgh last week I realise my addiction is still strong but with help ( either Franck or Lorna banning me from the classes

) I could give up. Of course I could give up whenever I wanted.........it's just that I choose not to................. honest

OK, I admit it, I'm addicted too.

As well as trying to get a fix almost put "trying to score" but decided against it ..... at all the Scottish East Coast venues at one time or another, I frequently go to other drop-in centres for addicts in London, Leeds, Stockport, Altrincham, Prestwich, Wolverhampton, Stafford, Bournemouth, Chigwell and Hatfield. I've also sought out the mother lode of French Jive in Paris.

But I'm not a hopeless case, as so far the enormous temptations offered by Glasgow have been resisted - but maybe one day ......

The sorry fact is, I just don't want to be cured
