Just for the ladies

OK .... just had another ego destroying evening where I got asked to dance the grand total of three times whereas my female escorts were in constant demand. Despite the obvious reason of my Brut aftershave I'm curious as to whether ladies follow the Ceroc ettiquette of asking men to dance or whether they still make the men BEG for it

So ... a quick poll.

Just afew thoughts:
1). Were there more men than women there. Rare but does happen. If so could be why the women were in more demand.

2). Try a different aftershave

3). Maybe the women think your too good for them to approach you.

I find if you hover at the edge of the dance floor you are MUCH more likely to be asked. It's all about what mood you are in and the vibes you give out. Whereas if you sit quietly at your table, then no chance mate!

I don't mind asking, and do at least half the time if I need to, but I do need to be in the right mood. If the room is full of strangers I find it hard to ask at all, but as long as there are 10 or so familiar male faces, then I don't mind asking complete strangers (weird or what ?!?)

BUT the best night for me is a night where I get asked most of the time - especially when I don't leave the floor, and the asking is done in that subtle raise of the eyebrow sort of way...
(even better is when men are fighting over me !!

)

And....big flash moves count for nowt with beginners.

Most of the beginners I see would rather dance three or four moves well than a whole showcase repertoire!!!!

Don't be shy...go for it and make someone's evening happy and fun....!

I will ask dancers i know, my favourite dancers and beginners male or female, but i get the impression that some female beginners don't like dancing with other females. I rarely ask advanced dancers (my lack of confidence and ability) and some have pointed out that they always have to ask me. I'm going to try my ceroc friends technique of watching the dancers, finding the ones i think i could cope with and ask as many as i can and hope they will dance with me.

Like you Jillian, I rarely ask advanced dancers nowadays ................because they never ask me back. I can only assume they didn't enjoy the experience.

Have to agree, I have only danced with you once, Gus, and it was me that asked you. No actually, twice, and it was me that asked you twice!!!

I don't thinkl its cos we don't think your too good for us, cos I'm rubbish but it never siops me asking anyone.
