I've always argued dance is an Art form, but it has to be a sport as well because dancers some of the fittest athlete's out there...

Mind you - there's a lot of very fit people in various armies too, and I'm not sure running around shooting people (for real) has been deemed a sport (yet)

Aerobic exercise, yes. Sport, no. Unless you're doing it competitively.

Art - a quality of communication between the two dancing and when a display (or just being watched) also between them and the audience.

An aesthetic that can leave the spectator and each other exhilerated, or any other emotion intended to elicit
