Negracha. A group of us are going. Come along
MJ-wise - ummm, not much, just the regular venues. Presumably people will be away at Swish.

I spoke to Ian (tiger) last night and he said he'll try to get the Blues room, in addition to the normal room for Friday, seeing as Ashtons isn't on but its only a 'maybe' at this stage..
so watch this space

I thought I'd sent you a PM in January to remind you about this but obviously
I messed it up. Sorry!
There were a few male tickets left last time I spoke to the organiser.

Re: Who's going where? Weekend 15/16/17th Feb 2008
For those of you looking in London on Friday...
Dance Riviera have their once a month "Smooth Lounge" on Friday night in Rochester. Rochester is about 20 minutes from London down the A2 in Kent.
For anyone who hasn't been, Smooth Lounge means they have lots of smooth nice music. I would say somewhere between normal MJ speed and 'serious' blues, although they do have the occasional serious bluesy tracks. Perfect for smooth, expressive dancing.
The venue is brand new and a purpose built dance studio. Very big dance floor, separate seating/chill out area and bar, dance-wear shop upstairs. It is new and not entirely finished yet, last time I went the bar wasn't quite finished, but otherwise it was great.

I have an email from Wes (which I can't access from work :tears:).
From memory, I think it's DJ Kenobe, in the Time nightclub (next to Rollerworld).
Re: Who's going where? Weekend 15/16/17th Feb 2008
wonderful news
it looks like we are sorted for Friday in London.
There is a freestyle on till 1 am in Crickelwood, close to Ashtons, i'm waiting for the full details, as soon as I have them i'll post them.
I haven't been before but apparently its cosy and quite social  and has a WCS flavour.:D
anyone else interested?
