Anybody else play this fantastic game? Took me a while to actually start playing it, but I do now.
Currently got a level 35 night elf hunter on the Darkspear Server. Also a level 17 Human Paladin on Eonar server.
Who's with me? :waycool:

'Tis an evil game.
It's the only game I now where hard-core players advice is not to start, because it's too good. I have actually seen this game destroy real relationships.... because my mates girlfriend was playing it too much!:what:
I've been on the wagon for 8 months now and I still get withdrawl symptoms :tears:
ESG had better not see this, he'll get ideas!
Yes, I'm a WoW addict, I started 2 weeks ago and I have a lvl 16 elf druid and a lvl 15 pally, both on Lightbringer. I'm such a geek. :tears:
How does one start...? :innocent:
Former addict, gave up a week ago after racking up over 80 days /played.
(note to non-WoW players: that's a total of 80x24 hours logged in to their servers, over 2-3 years).
Good thing my PC's too underpowered to run it. Especially considering that I'm off work for two weeks shortly.
[EDIT] Just found out it'll run just fine on my Mac.
Ohhhh - the temptation.... :tears:
Yeah, I've heard that too. But I'm not that sad to play it all the time - I meant most nights I'm out with my mates and dancing and stuff. But its a nice game for when I do have a free evening and I can't be bothered to go out.
Fortunately, its helpful in some cases. For example my sister and her bloke. They are quite busy and due to them travelling for work every day they find it too much hassle to go out in the evenings. So they actually play WoW together as a team (and thus my second character of a Paladin on the Eonar server where they play).
I once met a guy who played it non stop. His character even had a girlfriend within the game. More scary than that was that he wasn't even faithful to her and cheated on her with other women within the game!
I escaped from Championship Manager a couple of years ago and its a constant battle not to just go and buy the latest version of that!
If I played Warcraft I wouldn;t be able to stop until I'd achieved complete world domination which given the scale of the game would take me a million years so I think I'll stay away....
Paul
I tried world domination in 1994, but some hacker ruined my plans. Fortunately I was able to escape in a grove, but then in 1999 another mere "Innnnnsecttttt!!!!!!" came along and ruined my plans to take everything over. :tears:
not played WoW - did find the south park episdoe funny though (mrtwig.net)
Only mmorpg i played was EvE, which is just my kind of thing. Utterly brilliant. I stopped playing it immediately of course. I already receive complaints about playing Counter Strike :)
Ahhh... World of Warcraft is a Feeling...
Just remember Tessalicious – the loading screens have useful tips like ‘’Remember that you need to eat and sleep’’ and ‘’All things should be taken in moderation – even World of Warcraft’’ for a reason.Quote:

And we like your geekiness anyway – It gives the rest of us hope
That’d be about the same amount of time I had when I played I think, except I had only been playing about 18 months. Nothing brings reality crashing home quite as much as the /played function…..Quote:

Go here*:

Buy it. Install it. Start playing!
*This may not be the cheapest place to buy it from though. You may want to look around
A Quick google = http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/index...8E261.08_app01
Sparkles, I've got a free 10 day trial if you want it...
Go on, you know you want to.
You know, you've almost tempted me into joining.
I've always resisted signing up for monthly plan RPGs. I did play GuildWars with Tessalicious on a few occasions before I went to Oz. But it seems that she's transferred her loyalties....
I might just have to bite the bullet, and get WoW too..... :waycool:
