    Question Riddles

Thought we could do with a riddles thread...

    so here's the first one:

    - It's at the beginning of the night
    - It's there again in the middle of the morning
    - You can see it when looking at the moon.

    So, what is it?

This is pretty easy as well, especially given most people will be thinking the right way already, but it's too good not to post:
Letitia has a large one, and so has cousin Luce.
Eliza has a small one, though large enough for use.
Beneath a soft and glossy curl, each Lass has one in front.
To find it in an animal, you at the tail must hunt.

Hermaphrodites have none; Mermaids are minus too.
Nell Gwynn possessed a double share, if books we read are true.
It's used by all in Nuptial Bliss, in Carnal Pleasures found.
Destroy it, Life becomes extinct, the world is but a sound.

Lasciviousness here has its sources, Harlots its use apply.
Without it, Lust has never been, and even Love would die.
Now tell me what this wonder is, but pause before you guess it.
If you are mother, maid, or man, I swear you don't possess it.

    very nice indeed, letter 'L'

    How about this one:

How can you make 4 triangles with 6 matches ?

    7 triangles with 9 matches?

(triangles must all have the same size)

But this one I do know... you make a 3D pyramid with the first answer, and a 3D diamond for the second. Not sure how better to describe it on a forum....

This works better in real life with matchsticks, but it is a good one

Nothing beats "What have I got in my pockets" though ?

This may or may not have been a topic on here before but...

What question can only ever be answered 'No'?

I think there was a thread running about a month ago?

In answer to your riddle, is the answer 'what do the letters 'n' and 'o' spell when put in that order?

Probably there was but stuff in this section is pretty ephemeral anyway.

Your answer is not the one I am thinking of.

Nor is it 'Silverfox, would you like to dance?'

    Re: Riddles

This is a genuine riddle, not a sly dig at anything to do with dancers or dance venues btw.

    Are you lying?

If you say the truth, you can't lie so the answer is no.
If you are lying, you can't say that you are so the answer is no.
