I'm surprised, given the number of Nor'n Irelanders on this forum, that dulse hasn't been mentioned. Particularly the fact that you buy paper bags of the stuff at the fairs. That just strikes me as weird. Though the yellowman is fantastic, better than ordinary puff candy.
No, I knew as soon as I had put it in my mouth, it was foul, but I didn't want to offend the people I was sitting with by spitting it out, so I swallowed. I just about made the toilet, was in there for about half an hour.

Puff Candy isn't quite the same thing. Basically it's in the cooking times - Yellaman is like the outside edges of the inside of a crunchie, while puff candy is more like the bit in the middle.
