See how I set up these for you David - so you can deliver a winning punch line. It is delightful to see you completing this - you're as eager as gaucho galloping across the pampas to spend an evening jiving with the sultry ladies of Buenos Albans.

I am going to the Winning Post on Friday - it is a special 40's night with some great DJ's like Terry Elliott

Saturday I am going to Andy McGregors PANTOBALL with the fab Jive Aces at Hove Town Hall (I will be a Fairy Godmother)

Right, I'm going to add a poll tomorrow - so anything not listed by then, won't get in it. And I don't want to hear any whinges about it, either

Maybe this should be a general rule. Oh, hold on, I'd have to neg-rep myself then.

Silly question - How easy/hard is it to get back from Red Hot and Blue into town (ie central Edinburgh)? I'm tempted, but not if it means getting stuck in Wester Hailes beyond the reach of public transport in the middle of the night.

You can get a no 3 lothian bus back into town. last bus seems to be 2313 from Clovenstone - check out their website Welcome to Lothian Buses. There's always a taxi, although I'm sure someone would be able to give you a lift... I live out the other way so can't really offer a lift, sorry

    Hope to see you there

I'm amazed you got there, considering the state of the A406 last night...

The floor was good last week - nice and fast. Been very good for the past year, actually.

For my sins, I think I'm going to be at Chiswick tomorrow. Pray for my knees...

    Yes, there are still roadworks.
Folks may need to allow an extra 15 mins on the bus.

You will be the only one there.
    Chiswick is on Saturday.
