ooh 40mins to go till i can leave the office, drive home, get into bed for a couple of hours, sleep - then get ready for some great dancing.... so so looking forward to it, have not danced freestyle since Blaze III.
Ashtons tonight (can't wait) and Berko on Sunday.
I might pop along to Cerocmetro's freestyle in Chigwell on Saturday night as I'm not sure if I will be up for the schlep over to Hammersmith without my fellow Essex Girlies (who are doing Jay Jay's birthday celebration part 2 which involves food apparently).

I'm off on holiday this weekend, going to Cyprus to see my Grandad and celebrate his 75th birthday, very excited!
Just wanted to say that I had a great night's dancing last night in Stockport - ventured up North for work and took in a detour
It was definitely worth it - had some really fun dances, which restored my faith in Jive and even managed to squeeze in a bit of WCS.
Good to meet lots of new people and also a bump into a girl I used to dance with in the Bedford area - small world this dancing one.

back from the Inverness Hoot'n anni.
Franck's Blues workshop finally allowed me to understand what it's about.
Thanks Franck. It makes sense now.
Well, the Ladies seemed to be real Sports last night, a couple of hours of Blues practice for the second half of the party and not a single "ease off, you're too close" to be felt.
I enjoyed the adventures into leading and following as the music swayed this way & that. My, can those Ladies hips swing way more than mine.
Who's going to give me exercises in hip flexing/following before we "meet up" at the next Blue's night? Twenty five volunteers requested at very short notice (I have the diary next to the phone waiting to "fit in" all those calls?.
Had a good night at Jag Jive Bookham - great to meet Chef and Kel_Warminster. Ta for the dance Kel!
And to John Miller for managing to DJ two rooms simultaneously!
A difficult job well done.
