Secondly, what you need to ask yourself is why would Wes, who was pretty much universally liked by everyone who met him, start such a vindictive string of emails against someone who had been both his friend and business partner for many years?

You would have to be completely stupid to believe that Wes's statement that contained so much detail and that was written with such bitterness was simply retracted because it was untrue.

More likely that he breached the confidentiality terms of the original agreement and was therefore forced to retract the statement or face legal consequences...

This latest statement is all about leverage and has nothing to do with the REAL truth IMO.

Can't be sure of course, as he is such a fence sitter...but I think he is still in the "Wes is the good guy camp" based on "You would have to be completely stupid to believe that Wes's statement ... was simply retracted because it was untrue." Lucky it's not clear really so the lawyers involved will not dream of sending Rocky a letter

I dont think Rockey is a fence sitter at all, in fact he has made it abundantly clear what he thinks, but in all fairness there are I suppose three possiblities for Wes's apology.

1 He genuily retracts and was wrong

2 He has been forced by the threat of legal action to retract

3 John has abducted him, locked him in his torture chamber, has connected his love spuds to a 50,000 Volt supply and made him sign or else he throws the switch,

I put 3 as slightly more likely than 1
