Just sorted the hotel for 2006! If any of you want to get your act together now, they still have plenty of rooms ('cept you can't get the one with the huge bath, coz I just booked it )

The Argyll is the slightly posher one (where you have breakfast and the after party parties) and the Angus is the sister hotel just across the street.

Ok, this is the last of them I think. There was a bit of dispute about which one of the last two pictures is better, as Ducasi wasn't happy with picture 1, and NG not happy with picture 2 You can all decide which one you like better

I should hope that you all like them, seeing as it has taken me an hour to resize and post all of them, lol, I must be mad!...but I don't complain, as long as you are all happy with the end result

What I will say about the weekend is that it has shown me that I must post more...not everyone knew who I was! lol

I'm making sure I book a room with a bath tub this time. I think we got given the smallest, darkest room possible that only had a shower

Boys and Girls,

We might already have a problem with the Angus & Argyll hotels as apprently there is a conference on that weekend and the only rooms they have left are singles or family rooms.

Alternatively there is the Devoncove Hotel that is 30 seconds walk away and has twins and doubles available. £60 per room, per night with a buffet breakfast (cooked and continental).

Just to be clear this potential accommodation problem is for the May 2006 BFG.

Picasa isn't too bad and it's free. It can do on bulk resizing though not to a particular size but if you choose something like 480px JPEG then they should all be small enough. Sorry I didn't tell you about this before you resized them all.

Or if you're on XP, you can download Image Resizer free from the Microsoft PowerToys page, which gives you resizing as an extra right click option in Explorer. Not a lot of options, but very convenient.

oh god its friday and this is me just postin on this. i must be really busy. well i just want 2 say i had the most amazin time im not gonna list every1 who i had a lovey dance with be cauz the were all fantastic and u all know who u r .

i want 2 say well done frank and tiggerbabe wot a fantastic weekend . and a big thankz 2 em for askin me 2 demo for her funky jive class i had the time of my life doing that class even know i had 2 learn it on the friday night in about an hour and every1 was lookin like they were havin fun.

the cakes and that for the tea dance where amazin fraser must have an amazin sweet tooth wot a slection.

i didnt do that many classes but wot i managed 2 do were brill.

im also glad lara came up kept pusshin her 2 come up.

will see u all there again next year

There's also the Townhouse, which is only 2 minutes further on and does a lovely cooked breakfast. Would imagine they are similar prices. Phone number is 0141 332 9009.

I stayed at the Town house this year its a good hotel,nice clean comfortable rooms and as Tiggerbabe says a great breakfast.Staff were very friendly and helpfull
I had a single room cost £40 a night

*PHEW* What a weekend
To all of the lovely forumites I met and danced with over the weekend, it was a real pleasure and just great fun from start to finish.
