    CD content

    Can somebody please help.
I have a CD with quite a few tracks on but I have no record of what the tracks are, except when I put it in my computer to play and the tracks are displayed on the screen.

I thought I might be able to copy and paste to a document but I am having no success.

If there is a way could you let me know.

    Re: CD content

    I have two solutions

use windows media player to create a playlist of the tracks & get the playlist copier plugin http://www.wmplugins.com/ItemDetail.aspx?ItemID=374
it's a bit flakey but it works for me

Rip into PCDJ & create a waitlist. this will create an easy(ish) to find XML file that you can open with Excel with all of the detail you could ever want (and more)

if you don't have pcdj, you can get a time limited demo that may be able to do the job (can't remember if it limits the number of songs in the recordcase)

just use winamp, drag and drop the entire CD into the playlist and save as an m3u play list (which is just a text file) then strip out everything that isnt a song name from the file.

I should add that with a program like Ultraedit the total time taken to do this would be about 3 minutes
