Pancake Day

To celebrate Ash Wednesday I bought some doughnuts for all the folks in my office.

What do you mean I wasn't supposed to do this today?

Yesterday Vicky pollard (sorry i mean my daughter) invited her friends over for pancakes. I was really suprised that with all the fillings i offered including chocolate, fruit etc they only wanted lemon and sugar. And they only wanted 2 So I just had to finish the batch off and stuffed my face with chocolate, icecream, bananas etc

At 8 oclock my boss invited us over for a little pancake party at hers. There were all sorts of fillings on offer, strawberrys (some soaked in alcohol), bananas, blueberries, coronation chicken, feta cheese and leaves, lemon, sugar, cinemon (cant spell it), honey, maple syrup and fresh cream

Right the gym starts tomorrow!

Ummmm strawberrys in alcohol sounds (as tony the tiger says) greeaat!

Not sure about coronation chicken though!

I ate far too many and still feel stuffed today.

uuuuuuummmmmmm yes, good plan.... last night I ate five pancakes, had no room for my dinner, felt stuffed all night and still am this morning....

Good job its only once a year.... (they were lovely though... )

Usually one hour after stuffing my face with as many pancakes as possible, I go to feel hungry again. It's one of those things that are just heavy on your stomach at the time, but then digest very quickly. Bananas are the same!

I have never missed out on pancake day but I did last night so having some tonight instead. (well I hope so anyway!)

It's good to see that Frosties have moved with the times and Kellogg’s has released a Strawberries in Alcohol type.
