I think I'll be driving down on the Friday from Dundee, with a Little Monkey. Have space for one more.

Afterwards, I'll be driving to Cardiff on my own. So space for 2 on that journey if there's anyone coming from that direction....

I only knew about this 5 minutes ago, and have already been offered 3 other lifts!

But if The Tramp is driving down alone, I'll go with him, but will still need a lift back. Still got space for me going back, Lisa?

Yup. Unless I go with Trampy, of course. But you'll still have priority booking in my cafe as you've offered me a lift!

You can go with Trampy, and the cakes can come with us. We promise not to "lose" any on the way there. Honest.

I'm still looking for a lift to/from London. Somebody has kindly asked if I need one, but hasn't come back to me with a firm offer yet.

Re: The Southport June 2007 Poll & Thread!!!

Rather than start a new thread I though I would ask for a travel companion here

I will be driving up at some point on the Friday (either day or after work - havnt decided yet) from West London.

If anyone is interested in sharing the fuel costs, and putting up with my singing for 5 hours!, then just PM me.

SouthPort June2007 - Car Share

I'm really excited now! My 1st Southport -Heard alot about the place/the event.

Anyone going up from Bristol, or along the way?
It a 3 hour drive, so some company would be nice.

I can either drive, or chuck petrol money in etc

....um.... thats what Multmi Map said!... perhaps bit optimistic!

...I imagine I will have to factor in accidents, Rush hour, Service Stations, getting a wee bit lost.... etc etc

mind you, I have the Fri booked off, so will be going during the day - hopefully avoiding any rush hour antics.

Well if it isn't too much hassle would the Perth stop suit you again?

Yes I have done Bristol to Southport in 3 hours leaving at 1pm Friday afternoon - but didn't get lost once mind you......

Missed having a dance (again!) at Tickenham last night Paul.

Sorry no room in the car to offer you a lift Martin.
