Who's attending what weekend 7 / 8 / 9 Sep 2007?

One pretty fab, if exhausting, weekend just gone - it must be time to look forward to the next one!

Due to work commitments I'll be missing Utopia for the first time

Can anyone confirm if Marc will be DJing at St Neots? The ceroc central website doesn't seem to think that this might be relevant to anyone thinking about going!

Email Kali Fraser at Ceroc Central and ask her. She usually gets back to me quite quickly.

Not dancing this weekend, not that unusual as there is only one freestyle a month (but I get to dance 2 nights during the week) but I don't mind because the following weekend is SP and the weekend after that is a freestyle, so will be dancing two weekends in a row!

For me it will be a five day jaunt to Marbella this weekend with ten girls for a hen weekend so that should be very lively, and I have check out a couple of salsa bars to go to, also there is ceroc dance classes, but wrong night, so

Thanks for asking. Think we may have an extension till 1pm but that will need to be confirmed by the venue staff on the night. We should be starting the evening with Michaela's class downstairs at 7.45. As they kick into freestyle, we will take a class upstairs. Just a 40 minute crash course helping people adapt their dancing to Blues room music. I'm hoping to have the class finished by about 9.15.

I believe it's Simon Mackinder in the main room. He's the guy with the flash lighting and expensive kit. The sound quality will be top notch and his music tends to lean toward the modern club style. That should give us plenty to play with upstairs.

But I'm curious - why invite The World's Best WCS Couple to an event, and then not call it a WCS night? Aren't they going to be doing WCS-y things?

Or is Leroc an organisation?

perhaps, they don't want to make the Modern Jives to feel uncomfortable,

and give them a chance to have a go without feeling inadequate, if they can't WCS and just have a go
