I've had 'Little Monkey's Cafe' for the last 5-6 Southports, and have also taken cakes to the blues room and to the barbeques! And there's normally a Southport cake thread in the week(s) before the event, too.

Honestly, the reason why we can never be more than three people in the car on the way down to Southport is that we fill half the car up with cakes!
Ah, see I've never found the cafe before. Maybe that's why.

I'll be sure to hunt out the cakes in June (and might even contribute myself)

It varies - wherever LM is - I was fortunate enough to be staying in the same chalet in Feb - cake available all the time.

In the blues room - just look to see a corner with tables laden with cakes or look for a few forumites and get them to point you in the right direction.

With dancing finishing at 4am... shouldn't it be morning drinks on the beach?

I see what you mean.

It was just a passing thought really. Thought it would really nice to head down to the beach around 6 or 7pm for drinks and maybe even a bbq.

Ok, I confess. I bought some of those garden torches a while ago for another wekeender. My plan was to use them on the beach but i never got round to them. They have been sitting in my car since

I cant quite remember how far from the beach the camp is. Can anyone help?

Won't be at Blaze but the beach is by the bottom of the camp.. head down the hill from the venue and the beach is just outside thru the gates.. we found it in October and danced on it with Lucky and Ruby

It certainly would

Just looked at weather.co.uk again for Prestwick. Unfortunately they have changed their forecast to "Light Rain" for Friday and Saturday. That has changed from predominently sunny this morning!

This is different than BBC - Weather Centre - World Weather though.

Who knows!!

Guess I will just have to keep checking it.

Welcome to Scotland!

You'll know what the weather's like on the day (or should I say by the hour!).

It has been gloriously sunny for the past two days though, so fingers crossed...

Just to let U know that I am no longer able to go...

I am sorry I won't be there, and there are many people with whom I would have loved to have caught up.

If U know of anyone looking for 1M+1F tickets, in gold accommodation, then let me know please.

Enjoy..
