Well I don't think I'll be doing too much for Southport, maybe one or two at most, just not sure which one or two yet. So let WI bake off commence

(Don't Want to be) All By Myself

I was wondering if anyone I know would like to share with me? If they are just going by themselves for a single chalet or as a group with a spare room I'd prefer the social experience than being on my ownsome .

I have references . (Oh and I'm still to book but I'll do that real soon).

Don't have a spare room (spare sofa at most) but you're very welcome to visit and join in with the socialising

Does anyone do ginger cake, as if that's not on anyone else's list I might just do that.

So LM, do you have to hire a trailer to bring down all these cakes you're planning on making?
Lemon Cake makes an awesome gingerbread (really sticky moist and very gingery). It's one of the cakes she nearly always gets asked to bake for weekenders.

I just fill up pmjd's or Trampy's car with all my cakes..... We're only three in the car, which is good, as there's no room for more people with all those cakes!

I'll probably only do three this time. I think.......

Well, I don't have space in my chalet, but you're always more than welcome to come along for chats, hugs, cups of tea and CAKE!

And this time I'll be in one of those lovely club style chalets next to the dance den....

I've gotta budget chalet on my own - club had sold out.

It says on the website that there's a small possibility I may have to share. How small the possibility?

But this implies you are - AWESOME (there might be space in my chalet - I need to check )

Oh, and I wouldn't trust any references from anyone you've shared with before

Alright, maybe they do . Yes, it looks like I'm coming. They are happy to ship me out to Canada the next week instead. Fab.

I figured I'd rather share with someone I know rather than have that chance. Plus I enjoy sharing a chalet... it can be a good laugh .

And you absolutely HAVE TO pop by for cakes and hugs, anyway!

What are the odds that I'll have to share with a stranger woman?

And is it first dibs on the bed according to who gets there first even though I booked first way back in January?

I've booked as a single and wouldn't mind sharing with you KT (although you don't mention if the references are glowing or not ), but as someone's already mentioned, I could be sharing a 2 bedroom chalet rather than being in a 1 bedroom chalet by myself... Does anyone know if we find out beforehand or do they keep that as a surprise for when you get there?

Speaking of sharing, does anyone from Scotland have room for a Shiny Wee Travel Companion? It'd be nice to have some company for the journey! I could do the first bit on my own to come meet you and I'd pay petrol money of course. Pretty please!

(No references I'm afraid but everyone's got to start somewhere right? )
