There were too many women over when he and Mandy taught at Scarborough.

Hoping it is not an early morning class.

Female ticket going- no accommodation

Sadly, I can't go

I had booked with a friend of mine, so I can't offer accommodation (unless you know Liz ) but anyone who wants to go with friends and bunk in with them, let me know!! £109.

The Rail Union is voting on 22nd May whether to have a National strike.

If the vote is yes, it will start a week later.

Re: SOUTHPORT (30th May 2008 - 2nd Jun 2008)

There are 99 of us now voted on the poll saying we are going.
That's the highest I remember seeing (cue the pendants but i can't be arsed to check)
Thats one in every 15 people will be a forumite.

Is that a sign that we are sheep or that we collectively know the best places or something else?

I don't need answers I just thought it was interesting.
I'm back off to sleep now.

Re: SOUTHPORT (30th May 2008 - 2nd Jun 2008)

Ok my little chipmunks, is it time for a Southport baking poll, then??

I think I might not make as many cakes for this weekend as I did for Blaze III, though...... But probably a carrot cake (one of the HUGE ones) and something else.

Suggestions? Special requests?

Nah, didn't think so. You lot don't actually like cake, do you?

Active, posting forumites. I know of at least 3 others who are rarely on here, haven't voted on poll, but are going.

Southport does seem to get the highest number of forumites of any weekender.

I too will be scaling back production somewhat. Just the lemon cakes, banana loaf, chocolate brownies and gingerbread. Sorry folks, you'll just have to muddle along on that...

I quite like the apple and cinnamon one, too, so that's a definite maybe!

Ooooh, and if you supply red bull again, it's a definite yes!
