Keith will become famous soon enough
One last Competition

Britrock

We’ve eventually reached the last competition of 2005 (I think!)
Myself & Victoria will be there, once again trying for a final placing, this is one of those competitions, that often gets the best dancers applying, not sure if it’s because of its Southern Links or the fact that they offer around £3,000 in prize money, or simply because it is the last competition for around 5 months. But due to the standard of dance, I’ve found it very enjoyable, although not quite as much fun as the Scottish Ceroc Competition.
It was this reason & if possible for some more of your great support, that I was wondering who was going to grace their floor?
Any event like this is great for seeing dancers from around the country & as with Scotland, the after party often blesses us with some of our best dances.
I hope to see you all there and once again thank you for your great support in Edinburgh, it really really helped. Thank you.
p.s I had trouble finding their website, I think it may have changed since last year, so here it is, may be worth checking out their rules for those still discussing this on the other thread, some interesting sections. www.jivelive.com/britrock
Definitely at Southport, so will see you there if not at Britrock. You’ll always find me in the blues room from 1 till 7 ish.

Is it? Spoken to a few of the topOpen dancers and didnt seem that they were going? I'm sorry if I'm wrong but I thought Britrock was very much one of the 'minors', along with WSM and Ceroc Scotland. Any evidence to the contrary? Of course, with Clayton and Jeanine out of it, the Open pool has shrunk, but there are still the likes of Viktor, Will and Kate, Adam and Tasss, Simon R and Nicole aswell as the newbies like James and Mel and any travelling Aussies/Kiwis ..... any of that bunch going to be there?

Best wishes to you both - I loved watching you dance at the Scottish Competition - still can't believe you didn't win (but beginning to wonder if it was the corner that was jinxed )

I'm sure you will knock them dead - have fun and keep smiling

Personally, I'd say Britroc is a little behind Blackpool and Ceroc Hammersmith, but not by a great deal. My impression is it's just come at the wrong time for quite a few people this year.
